What I’m Loving – December 2013

First off, if the blog looks completely different to you…that’s because it is. I switched from Blogger to my own self hosted WordPress setup and registered my own domain name. This has been in the works for awhile, and I had planned to do more with it, but then I got laid off and the blog has been on the back burner ever since.
If you subscribed to my old blog via RSS, it should automatically update to this feed, so you shouldn’t have to update anything.

I’m loving this video on how MLB schedules are made. I had no idea that they do it this way.

I’m loving going hiking during the day, and getting to go to the $5 early movies during the week. Unemployment has its benefits.

I’m loving that I’m going to get to take one more trip in 2013. I’m getting seriously excited about my upcoming getaway. Hellooo Portland.

I’m loving my new Keurig…especially in combination with my new U of A mug. Yay for Black Friday deals. I’ve still got a lot of figuring out to do in regards to which K-cups I like best, but it’s been fun to experiment.

I’m loving Duck Dynasty. I never thought I would like this show and now I’m hooked. I’m excitedly waiting for season 4 to come out on DVD since I just missed getting to see it air on TV.

I’m loving sleeping in. There are few things better than waking up during cold weather season, looking at the clock only to decide that you don’t care what time it is, and pulling your comforter up tighter and falling asleep again. Hands down one of the best perks of being unemployed.

I’m loving my new DSLR. Oh Black Friday, how I love you. I ended up getting a better model and lens than I had originally been looking at because of a deal that Best Buy ran for Black Friday.
