Month’s End – October 2014

Snapshots from October

Month's End October

1) I took a quick day trip to Santa Barbara to get some outdoor time in before winter weather rolls in.
2) Per my usual tradition I bought Taylor Swift’s newest CD the day it came out. I always buy them at Target because they’re the ones with the exclusive deluxe CDs that come with 3 extra songs.
3) I got to catch up with some good friends at a wedding (technically this happened in September but it just missed the last post).
4) I’ve gone into full blown planning mode for my upcoming trip to Europe! I haven’t been this excited about a trip in ages – so that says something about what Europe means to me.
5) I participated in a wonderful Etsy swap.
6) I bought my ticket to next year’s Influence Conference!
7) I helped pull a jet! (It was a fundraiser at work)
8) I finally caught up with a food truck that I’ve been wanting to try for awhile now. It was delicious!

I also survived my 2nd ever pager rotation at work!

  • Thank you for sharing my k-cups post! You rock :) It sounds like you had a great month. That is so exciting that you bought an Influence Conference ticket! I have been considering it, but it would get pretty pricey since it’s so far away from me. I definitely need to go to a conference of some sort next year, though.

    • Funny thing is I already had it in this post before we got paired up this week! =D
I would love to have you come to the Influence Conf! If you come we should be roomies.

  • What a great month! Going to check out that saving money on K cups post because I would love to stop throwing money at my coffee! Oh, and I love Taylor’s new album. :)

    • I spent WAY too much money on coffee. Ha. And Jenna’s post on k-cups had a lot of great info so I was excited to see that she posted it.
Hope things are going well in DC! =)
