Month’s End – January 2015

Today marks the end of the first week of February and I’m just now getting around to posting my month’s end post for January – ha! This pretty well represents what my life has been like recently. Between working more since the start of the year as well as some random health issues I haven’t had much time for blogging.

I’ve also been doing a lot of thinking about my posting schedule and from here on out I’m going to break away from being on a schedule (it used to be Mondays and Thursdays) and post a bit more randomly. My hope is that when I do post that the content will be higher quality even if that means sacrificing quantity or consistency. But have no fear – I’m still going to be posting regularly and I’m excited for some of the plans that I have for this space in 2015! I hope you come along for the ride!

Snapshots from January

1) I didn’t get my January calendar put up until halfway through January. I feel like life has been a constant game of playing catch up.
2 & 3) Martin Luther King day is a paid holiday at my company so I took the opportunity to spend the three day weekend visiting some wonderful friends in Washington DC. It was the one part of January that was relaxing and I loved catching up with friends.
4) I tried a Pinterest experiment that involved a recipe that starts from a cake mix box. The end result was a success!
